Your Cheyenne Doula for Empowered Birthing
Birth is better with a Doula ❤️
As one of Wyoming’s most experienced birth doulas, my goal is for you to have an empowered, informed, and supported entrance into motherhood… however that looks for you! My doula work begins during your pregnancy and has a heavy emphasis on childbirth education, self-advocacy, and intuitive decision-making. I’ve seen firsthand how these three factors can transform a birth experience into something profound.
Birth can take so many different paths, and we will explore all its possibilities and come up with a plan together…. helping you feel prepared and confident when the big day finally arrives. And of course, I will be right by your side providing continuous labor support and encouragement as you meet your baby. You’ve got this!

love notes from families
“Danielle continually goes above and beyond. Not only is she an extremely talented photographer, she is the best doula around. She made me feel so comfortable and confident throughout my whole pregnancy, going over every detail that I felt nervous about, and going over everything that I wanted out of this birth. When it came time to have my son she was there when I needed her and I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without her. She makes you feel like you can do anything!”
~DeAnna
“Danielle was present, grounded, kind, and empowering. She supported me through every moment, helping me navigate the intensity without any pain intervention. When a true emergency occurred, Danielle became our voice: asking all the right questions we hadn’t even thought to ask, advocating for us, and finding a way to be in the operating room with us. She talked us through every step and helped keep us calm when the world suddenly felt upside down. I wasn’t able to see my baby for five hours due to complications, and Danielle never left my side. She supported me emotionally, continued advocating with the medical team, and made sure I was not alone during those painful hours of separation.”
~Kimberly
“Danielle provided me with amazing support throughout all of my pregnancy, labor, and is still someone I can reach out to today, 8 weeks post partum, if I needed to talk! I had a 9 hour unmedicated labor and I know that if Danielle hadn't been on my birth team it probably would have turned out much differently. She provided so much knowledge about counter pressure, ideas for position changes, and encouragement from the time she showed up at my house to three hours after baby was born!”

Usually, I do not offer doula support as a stand alone service without photography. I’ve seen that the addition of birth photography does wonders for birth processing. HOWEVER, I have made exceptions in the past for people who feel I am the perfect doula for them but are opposed to photography in their birth space. If you feel like this is you, please inquire.

Being on-call means I am fully available to you 24/7, day or night, and ready to join you whenever you are ready. I do not travel more than 30 minutes from home, I do not engage in any activities that would interfere with driving, and I have my phone on and nearby 24/7. It also means I have gas in my car, and my bags packed and ready!
-
I do not place a time limit on birth doula support. I join you once you have reached a strong active labor pattern, or as soon as you request my presence, and remain with you up to 2 hours postpartum. I’ll be there as long as I need to be!
-
Absolutely! It is an immense honor to join you during your cesarean birth. Ceasrean moms still benefit from the education, advocacy, and emotional support that a doula can provide.
Be aware that some doctors or hospitals have policies against me being in the OR, but I’ve had many clients fiercely self-advocate and my presence has been granted. If you hire me for a planned vaginal birth and end up with an unplanned c-section, I will do my best to join you in the OR. If that is not possible, I will rejoin you as soon as possible in the PACU.
-
If you have a spouse or other birth partner, please know that I am never there to replace them! I know birth, your partner knows you, and together we make an amazing support team. I can support and educate your partner on how to be helpful to you in labor. I will teach them how to do hip squeezes, reassure them that things are normal, or explain what they are seeing if they are confused.
Now that you’ve learned more about doula support,Let's talk about YOU!
I want to learn more about you, your family, and your desires for birth and motherhood. Our consultation is free, no obligation, and no pressure. Let’s see if we are a good fit for each other!
